🌟 A Magical Wedding on Yacht Starship 🌟

This past weekend, our talented team of Tampa wedding photographers and Clearwater Beach wedding photographers had the incredible honor of capturing Katie and Alex's unforgettable wedding aboard the Yacht Starship. Despite a stormy start, the ceremony was moved indoors, where the huge, beautiful glass windows offered a stunning view of the ocean. The winds calmed just in time, allowing the couple to safely set sail and exchange their vows. After the ceremony, the storm cleared, revealing a breathtaking rainbow and a gorgeous sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.

Katie and Alex's Love Story

Katie and Alex's journey began in the early months of COVID-19 in 2020. Katie, seeking exercise, would take long evening walks through her neighborhood, passing by Alex's home where he often sat on his front porch. Over time, Alex noticed the beautiful woman passing by and eventually engaged her in conversation. Their connection blossomed when he tossed her a beverage from the porch, which she deftly caught, leading to many more evenings spent together.

The Proposal

Alex proposed during a family trip to the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, hiding an artificial rose with a ring box among the flowers. At a scenic floral spot, Katie's children discovered the rose and handed it to Alex, who then proposed. The moment was beautifully captured by an incognito photographer Alex had hired.

The Wedding Day

Their wedding style combined sophistication and elegance with vibrant island vibes and colorful flowers. Katie's love for gardening complemented Alex's admiration for James Bond and the sea. The yacht's ambiance was a perfect blend of their distinct personalities, creating a unique and memorable experience.

Katie and Alex's favorite details included the breathtaking sunset, the banquet-style service with ample food and drinks, and the joyous atmosphere created by great music.
