Brides and grooms rode a trolley ride around historic Ybor city to visit six beautiful wedding venues with their roots in building Tampa Bay. They tasted food from the area’s best caterers, met with wedding planners and entertainment professionals, all on one Thursday afternoon in August.

The Italian Club, three-story building, founded over 100 years ago, is an architectural masterpiece laced with elegance and historic beauty. Perfectly located in the historic district of Ybor City, this beautifully restored, classically elegant building provides the perfect venue for someone looking for an all-in-one facility.  They offer three distinctive rooms, each with a personality and style of their own.  The building has three levels; the Cantina on the first floor, the Theater on the second floor and the Grand Ballroom on the third floor. With three floors of event space, The Italian Club has the unique appeal of being able to accommodate a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in three separate locations, all with a cultivated charm of their own.

Jenna & Brant’s LOVE story…

It Started With Meiomi Now We're Here…

On a wintery night in Chicago we had our first date at the amazing Italian Restaurant Topo Gigio. From the moment we held hands and Brant lead the way through the ‘pre-covid’ Friday night crowd, we had an instant connection. Our first date started with our favorite wine Meiomi and effortless conversation, laughs, and openly sharing countless stories and future adventures we planned to have together....we ended up staying past closing with the restaurant owner. It was an instant connection that we knew was special and we have been inseparable ever since.

Early into our relationship we were faced with a Global Pandemic, a City shutting down, and a world that would test us in our blossoming relationship. The immediate reaction was to lean on one another. We both don't know what we would have done without one another in such a frightening time. So, it is only right that we did what every young couple plans not to do....we drove 19 hours across the country and moved back in with our parents. It was an amazing feeling to know that we had both families to open their arms, homes, and hearts. We were lucky enough to form such an amazing relationship with both sides of the family early on. We had a chance to escape the reality around us, but we were then faced with an even more terrifying reality coming out of our fictional retirement when we returned home. We drove into a city on fire, looting all around us, and a sense of fear for what was to come. As intense as a time it was, we made the best of it and had an absolute blast, together. We escaped to lake houses with our friends, had the best times at home playing games, talking about everything and anything, and listening to Paradise until the sun came up. We had the time to truly fall in love.

We have been lucky enough to be able to travel with friends and family and attend several sporting events….and somehow managed the house rule ‘go Bears, go Patriots.’ We confidently know our Top Chef skills are Food Network worthy and have expanded on our skills in the kitchen. We love going to our favorite restaurants and exploring new ones, although Grubhub and McDonald’s still may fall under fan favorites…guilty. (Please allow the excuse that there is no Federal Hill in Chicago for all the Italians & New Englanders cringing right now).

We constantly amaze one another with the fact that as unique and eccentric as each of us is, we have so found our perfect match and complement one another perfectly. The sense of balance and constant joy is truly a blessing. We are living an absolutely amazing love story and are so grateful to live it and share it with all of you.

Jenna & Brant are living an amazing love story and were excited to share it with their closest family and friends at their wedding. They wanted it to be an elegant and vibrant evening filled with great food, drinks, dancing, and fun. Not only did they celebrate their marriage but they also rang in the New Year with the ones closest to them. Happy 2023 everyone 🥂

Ashley + Michael Step Into The Limelight | Sacred Heart Catholic Church + Le Méridien Tampa, The Courthouse | Tampa, FL

Ashley and Michael… what a joy it was to witness their wedding day.

Ashley and Michael’s story starts when they were in grade school. Ashley was a cheerleader and Michael was on the football team… one caught the other’s eye, but they didn’t date for a while after. Michael’s brother describes Michael as being “by the book”, and it may have taken many years, but Ashley and Michael finally got to tie the knot on a beautiful Saturday morning in Tampa. 

On their wedding day, emotions were overflowing. Tears of happiness were shared by their closest friends and family (and the vendors). Their ceremony took place at the beautiful Sacred Heart, followed by cocktail hour and their reception at Le Meridien. The reception was breath-taking, from the beautifully crafted flower wall with their last name in neon lights, to the dainty treats that they had on their dessert table. It truly was a sweet day. One of our favorite moments was their cake cutting… or should we say cake smash?

Ashley and Michael are the perfect duo, balancing playfulness, seriousness and love. We are so happy that these two now get to share the rest of their lives MARRIED! It’s about time!

Brooke + Nick Step Into The Limelight | Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church + Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort And Spa | Clearwater, FL

Brooke & Nick became friends while working together in the OR and through mutual friends while attending the University of Florida in Gainesville. Go Gators! 

Nick then proposed while they were on a trip to The Keys. Brooke & Nick spent the day Tarpon fishing for the first time and then took an afternoon cruise on their boat where he popped the question. It was a absolutely beautiful day from start to finish and it being just the two of us was the perfect intimate proposal.

Brooke says… Nick is the most thoughtful, caring, hardworking and intelligent person she know.s He always makes her feel beautiful, special and loved and can always make her laugh.

Nick says… Brooke is one of the most compassionate people he has ever met, not just towards her friends and family, but to her animals too! She has a great sense of humor and can always make him feel loved no matter what the situation is. 

Both Brooke & Nick enjoy fishing, football games and playing with their dogs (Paisley and Rookie).

For their wedding day Brooke & Nick wanted to have a fun celebration with all of their friends and family. They love the beach but wanted to keep the ceremony traditional, so they chose the gorgeous Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church where Nick attended as a child. Most of their friends and family traveled from Michigan, Florida, North/South Carolina, California, Georgia, even England and Cyprus. So they wanted to have a fun beach filled weekend for everyone to enjoy their time in Clearwater. 

We so loved celebrating these two amazing people, their love for each other is undeniable and just so sweet. We wish both Brooke & Nick a lifetime of happiness and many more beautiful memories together.

Featured rooms at the Don included the elegant Del Prado Ballroom and the dreamy Terrace Ballroom which overlooks beautiful St. Pete Beach! For sunset, we headed over to the fun & tropical Beach House Suites where setup was a food truck, fun games, and the cutest “Cheers” floral wall! 🥂🌸
