Natasha and Colin’s love story began at Florida State University, where they met in grad school and shared their first date at a coffee shop in January 2022. Three years later, on January 4, 2025, they celebrated their love with a wedding at The Barn at Jewel Farms in Odessa, Florida—a perfect blend of rustic charm and family warmth.
A Heartfelt Proposal
On November 2, 2023, Colin proposed at Koreshan State Park in Estero, Florida. Inspired by their “steady” anniversary (February 11, 2022), Colin flipped the date and popped the question, with their dog Koda by his side. Natasha thought she was just taking a selfie, but the moment turned into a beautiful surprise.
The “Happy Campers” Theme
With their shared love of the outdoors, the couple embraced a “Happy Campers” theme for their wedding, a nod to their last names (Campanaro and Campbell). Their wedding incorporated playful touches—like flower pots down the aisle, Lego figurines on the cake, and playing cards as favors—bringing their shared interests and personalities to life.
The Perfect Venue
Although Natasha and Colin met in Tallahassee, they grew up just five minutes apart in the Tampa Bay area. The Barn at Jewel Farms was the perfect location for their wedding, combining indoor charm with an outdoor ceremony space. They loved the venue's rustic vibe and knew it would be the ideal place to celebrate with their closest family and friends.
Personal Details and DIY Touches
The couple’s wedding day was filled with personal touches, from KodaBear’s role as ring bearer to the DIY details created by Natasha, her maid of honor, and her mother. The reception featured a cozy campfire, s’mores station, and plenty of games—perfect for a laid-back, fun-filled evening.
A Day of Love and Family
The couple made sure to include their new baby in the celebration, with a babysitter on hand to keep her safe. Colin was deeply moved as Natasha walked down the aisle, and the ceremony was filled with joy and emotional moments, including a surprise vow renewal. The celebration continued with dancing, games, and plenty of laughter, a true reflection of Natasha and Colin’s fun-loving spirit.
